For me, the biggest step in getting better at this was true relaxation. Stress, I feel, absolutely has the potential to kill recall. I know we all have responsibilities in life that we want to uphold. However, I don't let my responsibilities and what I do in my life bring me down or cause negative emotions in me (or at least I try my best not to hahaha). There'll be days when you're totally overwhelmed and that's fine. Just try your best each day and don't feel bad if one day you had so much on your plate you could not do everything you wanted.

The point is, just relax, have fun and enjoy the process of learning. It took me several weeks maybe a month or two before I was able to intentionally have a lucid dream. Read tutorials on dream recall and see if there are any areas you can improve as well. Keep at it with the RCs and DJs and try learning more about lucid dreaming with the tutorials on DV.

In other words, the tut is bad

And per sleep is almost a must as well. Only a few people can achieve SP without it

Wow. I was simply providing an answer for the initial question of "What is this Sleep Paralysis stuff anyway?" , not how to achieve it. Furthermore, titling the link as "User Tutorial" versus "DV Tutorial" pretty much implies a risk of inaccuracy, but everyone has their own opinion. I only provided a link, to answer a poster's question, that has obviously already been approved and posted by DV.

I didn't have this feeling..but lucid every night still.
So, it means I did not SP to get to lucid..lol.
And I can see that SP is not pleasant. Then why have it?
I only get giddy after I woke from lucid, not before.
      Goals:
      1. Attacking my enemies instead of running away from them~ Ultimately taking control of my dream situation.
      2. Remember that I can always summon a shield around me to protect myself in dreams. No need to fear!

If a man believes his dream is his reality when he wakes up is this now his dream or does he believe he hadn't been dreaming at all?
