Hi all newbie here, I have some questions too~

Hi, sorry for following the clique, but I'm a newbie with some questions too ;o;. I read about Lucid Dreaming forever ago but now I'm just starting to get into it.

1.Is it possible to WILD from a nap?

      2. Is it possible to WILD directly from conscious to my normal sleeping schedule?

      3. Sometime when I'm relaxing and getting ready to WILD, I can't help but dwell on the thoughts that pass through my mind for 3-4 seconds. Is this ok or do I have to be absolutely clear minded.

      5. I also read that there can't be any "inner dialogue". Is this absolutely necessary? Sometimes I just happen to "blurt" out random things in my head from the random thoughts that pass through my mind.

      6. I have had NO experience with WILDing, WBTB or Lucid Dreams, but for the past month I have been waking up prematurely and whenever I try to go back to bed I can feel the SP symptoms taking over my body, and the beginning of the dream taking form before my eyes. Is this a sign that I might be a natural at LDing?

      Thank you again .

1.Is it possible to WILD from a nap?
Absolutely. Naps are a very good time to attempt a WILD. Generally, 1-8 hours after waking in the morning. You can achieve them later as well, but the longer you wait after waking in the morning, the harder it will become.

      2. Is it possible to WILD directly from conscious to my normal sleeping schedule?
I assume you mean upon first going to sleep. It is possible, but it is waaaaay more difficult than with WBTB or naps. Even if you manage to get into the dream, the REM cycle is very short at the beginning of the night. The quality of the lucid usually isn't as good either. It is certainly not recommended.

      3. Sometime when I'm relaxing and getting ready to WILD, I can't help but dwell on the thoughts that pass through my mind for 3-4 seconds. Is this ok or do I have to be absolutely clear minded.
No, this is fine. Part of my WILD technique is letting your mind wander. Just make sure you are using some sort of anchor, so you can keep consciousness during the process. I simply observe the darkness behind my eyes as I let my mind think whatever comes to it.

      5. I also read that there can't be any "inner dialogue". Is this absolutely necessary? Sometimes I just happen to "blurt" out random things in my head from the random thoughts that pass through my mind.
Is long as it isn't distracting to you, it should be fine. She stay calm and relaxed throughout the entire process. Don't dwell on your thoughts, just let them pass in and out of your mind.

Well, it is at least a sign that you get SP often...which is a good thing. Try to take advantage of this every time and attempt to WILD.

      Thank you again .
No problem and good luck to you! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Let your sub-conscious take over in your dreams until you one day may have the ability to take the wheel!

Ah, indeed you can WILD by sticking to a particular thought, but this often causes you to become overly concentrated/focused which can keep you from falling asleep. If you can keep a certain thought in your mind while still managing to remain fairly passive...by all means do so. Always stick to whatever works for you. If you hit SP while dwelling on a thought, then change it now. I just always recommend a casual observation of flowing thought. I feel it is a bit easier than holding on to a specific thought. Or in the least, if you fail it is because you lose consciousness as opposed to laying awake for hours (which I hate ).
