Thanks, everyone. I think what I'll do is check out the wiki - then I'll read some of the pdf ETWOLD. I have read ETWOLD before (I skipped some parts because I wanted to get to the techniques..not a very good idea on my part) and it was really thorough. But I'll check out them both.
