      Would this work?

Hey guys, I realised that waking up at ~4:00 greatly enhances chance of having a lucid dream as it did earlier for me. I wanted to ask would repeating this kind of mantra would work?:

Tonight I will wake up at 4:00? Could you list me the ways to wake up at ~4:00 without alarm clock?

Well a mantra has worked for me. Try drinking enough liquids that you will need to wake up around that time to relieve yourself.

I said "I'll wake up at 3:00AM" It may take a few nights but it does work.

What I do is say "I will wake up after X hours"
So, for example, you go to bed at 10:30, say "I will wake up in 5 and a half hours"
-Works great for me if I want to WBTB or something.

If you're not physically exhausted then yeah. If you tell yourself you will wake up after a few hours, you will probably wake up after a REM and remember to wake up "for real" (as we all wake up after each REM, only we don't remember most of them). Or do it like Zebrah says, drink water. Or an alarm with vibration on instead of sound inside your pillow?

I'll try the "I will wake up in xx hours". I personally expierenced how good mantras work. The most surprising one was "I will wake up after each dream" and it actually worked. I remembered the dream I woke up after as if it was in real life, yesterday.

      Thanks!
