      Hi iam a noob -_-

so i been having lucid dreams more and more often like recently. i was just wondering if this is caused by eating or sleeping patterns.... i never had none of these types of dreams untill end of last year till now.. ... just woke up from one this morning after taking a nap for two hours it was like a recap of my day but i wanted to get out i dreamed in the dream i was reaching for water to wake up... and my breathing was cut short... somtimes this stuff is fun but somtimes i get scared and its not..

There is nothing to fear. Lucid dreaming is completely harmless.

It's probably just sleep paralysis coming over into your dream. Don't worry about it. It happens every night, only you aren't aware of it normally.

have you ever had any previous problems with near death due to suffocation? if so that may be the origination of that, I suggest you maybe do a few breathing techniques; maybe something like Qigong breathing. I also suggest you do it before you sleep and confront yourself and convince yourself your breathing in no way be harmed while you dream. Hope I helped. good luck
