      Hi!

I'm not exactly new to lucid dreaming (or astral projection). I have been trying to do both for about 4-5 years with no real success. Although lately I have become more serious about trying lucid dreaming.

I've never been good at dream recall, but I am beginning to remember some dreams - about one or two a week, though they are quite vague.

I find it amazing that we spend so much of our life asleep when we have the opportunity to do things with that time we can't exactly do real life, at least not immediately. I hope to lucid dream for that reason. Plus, I write a lot, so maybe it'll keep my writer's block at bay.

I'm looking forward to making friends here. Don't hesitate to send me a PM if you'd like to chat.

      Welcome to DV!

I actually joined for a similar reason, that we spend so much time asleep and not that many people are aware of all the cool things you could be doing in your dreams. Although it may take a long time to get to the point where you are able to have even one lucid dream a week, I have to say that it is definitely worth trying for. I still have yet to master it myself but have been working on and off on it and have a few lucids here and there. I'm sure that if you keep a dream journal and browse the forums for some tips and techniques you should be able to establish a better dream recall and eventually have a lucid.

      Good luck!
I dream a lot, need not be asleep.

Like ElsiaStar said, the key to getting better recall is to keep a dream journal. It'll also help you with DILDs, primarily.

Welcome to the forum, don't be afraid to ask around if you have any questions
