      Dream recall / MILD technique

I've been practicing dream recall (from an Astral Projection book) and I've recalled most of my dreams last week. The technique is to say "Roam Goam" in your head and at the same time staying still until the dream images come to your head.

Should I wait 30 days (of dream recalling) to see a pattern in my dreams ?

Then try the MILD technique or just look at my current dreams and try to find a pattern.

      Thanx.

      Wow.
I might have to try that,
      recall technique.

What do you mean by a pattern in your dreams?
Do you mean something similar to a dream sign by which you find a recurring theme and try to become lucid once you notice it in your dreams?
If so, then, although it can be a good way of increasing chances of lucidity,
I wouldn't reccomend relying on that too heavily, as for it to work,
the dream sign would first have to show up in your dreams, which depending on the dream sign could not happen for many dreams at a time (though some dream signs may show up in nearly every dream),
you would then need to then notice it and also recognise it as a dream sign.

I suggest, if you have time to try both, primarily the MILD, but watching out for dream signs too.

You don't need a word to be repeated to recall dreams, it's all about staying still, not thinking about anything in particular. Just make sure you don't fall back asleep, but when your brain thinks you're about to, you will have access to the dream memory. They will come without the word.

Also, if you're looking for Dream Signs then yes, wait for a few weeks and you'll see which ones that are common. But with MILD you just visualize and repeat mantras before bed.

If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Thanx. I'll just wait a month and then I'll recognize the recurring themes in my dreams.
