Greetings-

So I made some adjustments to my sleep pattern recently, setting my alarm for about an hour earlier than usual. I have a snooze time set of 10 minutes, and when I hit snooze its about 10 seconds before I fall back to sleep. For the next 10 minutes, until my alarm goes off again, I have been having the most vivid, complex, seemingly lengthy, and tangible dreams ever.

Now let me back up for a second here. I have been having vivd dreams since I was very young, actually from about the time it is possible for a young child to find the movie ET terrifying. Since that young age of 5 or 6, one constant in my life has been that so many mornings start with the words "I had the craziest dream last night...". I recall about 5 or 6 dreams in great detail every night. Many of them people think "that is wasy to ridiculous to be a real dream, you made that up".

Over the years I have dabble in LD, have several books about the topic, but never have I been able to achieve consistent LD. I think that because for as long as I can remember I have had wild dreams that I always passed on really trying to master LD. After all, every night is like going to my own private movie playing out in my head like a high production value film.

With the recent change in my sleep patterns though I am beginning to reconsider giving LD a fair attempt. Too often I enter that gray area, where you know something is amiss, or have partial command over the subconscious but let it play out anyway.

I want to go deeper, go further. My first question then is naturally- has anyone had a similar experience as me, and been able to push the boundaries? Enlighten me if you can- as I am very intrigued.

cheers
