Thread: My Lucid Dream Diary!

Hello All

I've been aware of Lucid Dreaming for a long time, but I've never really done anything about it, despite a huge curiosity for the subject. Anyways, I've now decided to put my full devotion into this new project and hopefully I'll experience Lucid Dreaming, perhaps even master it!

So the project started the 16th of May, on a boring Sunday at my cabin. In the diary im now writing in, I will write down my; Dream Journal, Methods attempted, Notes & Personal thoughts.

- English is note my native language, and thus there might be some mistakes in the text, but please bear with me

Spoiler for 17th May:

My first attempt at Lucid Dreaming. I'm fully aware that I'll most likely won't experience any LD at the first attempt, but I'm still pretty psyched about it. My strategy is to write down my dreams in a Dream Diary, repetitively do Reality Check; Pinch my nose and try to breathe through it, and try out different methods of LD Techniques.

The first technique attempted was FILD w/ WBTB. I set my alarm to ring 5 hours after I went to bed. When I woke up, rather groggy, I started lifting my pointyfinger; up and down, for approximately 30 seconds (Not counting). When I think the 30seconds have passed I did a Reality Check; "Noseblow"

After a couple of attempts I think i simply fell asleep, cause I dont remember much else:p

Dream Diary
At first I couldn't even remember that I've dreamt, which at first was quite frustrating, then however I suddenly remembered one dream I had.

It was pretty simple (I'll describe the main things). I was sitting at my school, eating a Calzone My teachers was walking around, eventually sitting down as well.

Spoiler for 18th May:

My 2nd attempt at LD.

I used a method which goes by the name: WILD w/ WBTB. At first I tried the method while going to bed the first time, however I must've fallen asleep cause I dont remember much. I tried again 5 hours later, but it failed yet again.

Guess I have to improve my concentration and discipline in order to successfully use this method.

Dream Diary
I actually remembered 3 dreams today, which I found pretty impressive myself.

# I was attempting to login onto my schools internett page, in order check tomorrows calendar for the classes. However, I just couldn't remember the login URL at all, after several attempts the dream just slipped away.

- This dream makes sense, as i checked the school calendar right before I went to sleep.


# I was at cousins cabin, down at the beach. Some girl asked me to switch spots, because where I lied it was more sun. Eventually we changed, and then my dream slipped away.

- This dream doesn't make any sense at all. I couldn't recognize the girl, and I haven't been at my cousins cabin for several years or went through a similar situation before.


# In my last dream, I was in a contest with some of my classmates, where we had to guess the Cartoon Character, which was pictured on a box. There was several characters I actually didnt guess/know myself which is pretty weird considering its my dream Anyways, the characters varied from Pokemons to Transformers.

- Again doesnt make any sense.. I didnt watch any cartoons or anything else that can be associated with the dream.
