So close but not all the way. Help please

Hello. I'm posting this because the person who adopted me has not been answering my messages in over 2 weeks. I'm getting a little demotivated, so to get myself going again I ask you.

I have been writing a dream journal for about two months now and my dream recall has gone from remembering about 1 dream per night to 5 dreams every night.
I'm practising MILD combined with DILD. I have not yet had a real lucid dream, but this has happened:

I had a dream where i flew, and I suddenly closed my nose with my fingers and could breathe though it. Then i woke up. (I did not get excited or anything, because the dream ended so suddenly, I didn't have time to get excited.)

Another thing happend another night. I took a nap and this is how the dream went:
*Totally black - I breathed through closed nose - totally black.*
Nothing else happened in the dream. I did't even realize I was dreaming before it went black. This time I didn't wake up immediately either.

I feel like I'm sooo close..

      Can enyone here help?

Well, One thing you could have done in this situation, is use your visualization skills to create a dream world around you, because obviously you were aware of your dream body, yet you waited for something to happen. Keep that in mind. The next time you do a reality check, and you confirm that your breathing, try to take in all that you see and set yourself in place. I'm not trying to be a Lucid Guru here or anything, these are just some very helpful repeated tips that have helped me. Good luck! ^.^

That could have been a good advice, except one thing: When this happen I don't have the time to do anything. Like i wrote, when i breathe though my nose, it just went black. The realization of being in a dream didn't even come, because it ended so quickly. :S If I am going to visualize something I have to have at least half a second on me, don't you think? :p

Maybe that's just you thinking that the dream was over, just because a dream collapses doesn't mean your not still dreaming, but I understand what you mean. I guess all I can say it: better luck next time! ;D
