first wild - what it felt like

It was amazing the transition was really suttle but soooo wierd.

like looking at these images in your head and remaining aware and then feeling yourself being drawn in as if you're literally stepping through into your own mind.

Keeping aware of myself looking at these images i began to FEEL them and i was flying and felt myself sort of fly in. it was sort of like - if you have a movie running with a pair of headphones and you put the headphones over your head, thats what it sounded like as i slowly moved in remaining aware that i was lucid.

it was pretty cool and now i've finally done it for the first time i hope i can have more

i did it by having a silent room and using low music to calm me down and feel myself go into SP and meditate my energy (sounds wierd but i did it)

I then turned off my music and got into a more comfortable position and started to just stay aware of images in my head.

incredible, it was an experience indeed.

Well, whatever works for you is what you should continue doing. It sounds like a great experience, I know what you mean about seeing the images. Even when I don't get images though, I always get the same feeling when I've just gone from waking reality to a dream. It's a cool feeling, especially when there isn't any SP in between (I like SP and lament the fact that I very rarely get it anymore, but it makes for cool transitions going straight from where you're lying in bed to the dream).

Well i used to concentrate on the numb feeling of the SP but i found last night i concentrated on the numb feeling which brought me into a deep relaxation then i switched positions breaking the numbness but i was incredibly relaxed and it felt easier to get vivid images and i guess SP kicked in as i jumped into my dream, it was fucking cool.

Mind me asking what time you did this, like, how long after sleep did you wake up and do it? Also, how long did the whole process take you?

It's great you've found something that works for you so soon after you started. Other than my first LD, which I attained out of sheer non-stop thinking about LDing, it took me months to figure out techniques that even began to work for me, lol.

Thanks man well all of my LDs were DILDs and were so random the only "WILD" ive had was WILDing from inside my own dream.

Not sure i don't recall it being WBTB i think it was just staying up on the computer until 4am then thinking "i better go bed im knackered" and having plenty of dairy and a banana a few hours earlier my images were more vivid so easier to see.
I didn't keep a track of time hence why me not thinking it was WBTB i just sort of got into bed put some music on waited for my body to go numb and started to imagine in my own mind me moving about in a dream world to try to break free of my physical self (hard to describe) then i turned off my music when i found it distracting more than it being an anchor and turned onto my side not opening my eyes for the whole process and just thinking inside my own head but aware.
I think the food i ate and the "meditation" if you can call it that helped. but when i woke up from my WILD and i tried to re enter the dream it was much much easier to get back into it.

I spend ages acheiving my body numbness i swear i must lie there for like an hour lmao but that because i reset the process a lot by itching and swallowing - anything i find distracting or uncomfortable from the images or that takes my mind off the images in the slightest i do something about it , always seen tutorials that say "trick your body with your mind by ignoring itches and uncomfortable position" that just didn't work for me personally.
Although im still a newbie at WILD'ing so i will have to see if what i did last night works multiple times.
