      Newbie in the house

      Whats up guys?
Well first of I have not done any previous dream recalling(such as writing them down in journals), lucid dream training, or any controlling of dreams. I am currently 16 and have been having lucid dreams for as far back as I can remember. I only recently learned what they were called about a year ago, but even before I knew what they were I have tried to control my dreams with zero success. I seem to have about one lucid dream a week, sometimes more sometimes less.
I have plans to start trying many lucid dreaming techniques to increase the amount I have, but my real question is how do you guys personally control your dreams? What are some techniques that you use? As stated before I have tried countless times and failed, so any help would be appreciated.
      Thanks in advance.

Hi there! I'm a newbie too I mainly joined this site because I've had a only a few lucid dreams and a few other strange dreams. But I have no control over them and I can't choose when to have them. I really want to learn how to lucid dream and find the right techniques that work for me =) I'm still on the hunt! Tonight I am going to try the WILD technique to see if it works. I've tried it before but with no luck

Yes I plan to do my first real test tonight.
Also a side note: recently(by that I mean the past year) I have experienced accidental sleep paralysis 4 times when before that time I had never had any. The first one I had was terrifying. My entire body was tingling and my ears were ringing and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't move(I thought it was a ghost for a long time), but they all seem to be more or less the same. It's weird though I can't open my eyes yet I am aware of my surroundings as if they were open. Now my question is would this be a good time to try to initiate a lucid dream assuming it happens again?

Hello Yosma, and welcome to Dream Views! I am actually running a class right now on Dream Control if you want to check it out. Its in the DVA (Drea, Views Academy). Here is the link: Dream Control (KingYoshi)

As for the sleep paralysis, it really just takes some getting used to. You should definitely look into the WILD technique. This particular induction technique utilizes sleep paralysis to induce lucidity. If you tend to get random sleep paralysis from time to time, you should at least take a look into the WILDing process.
