      my first lucid dream

Hello everyone, I'm ishamil ( my real name is george), here to further my skills in lucid dreaming. ive been sucessfull in lucid dreaming a few times, but its still a bit difficult for me. ive been staying with the WILD method so far, and the DEILD method, since those seem to be the easiest for me. the first time i ever had a lucid dream, it was through the DILD method, i was on my way to school, and my cousin approaches me, and tells me he wants to introduce me to a group of people. they turn out to be a cult following an old prophecy: an individual will be sent to the moon, and destroy it. this individual would gain the power to control the universe around him, a sort of lucid dreaming technique existing in reality. (keep in mind that this was a dream, so fulfilling this prphecy would mean attaining lucid dreaming) this group means to use me to destroy the world. causing the extinction of life. I agree to destroy the moon (with my own intentions in mind) i destroy the moon with thier weapons, and in the moments after the debris from the moon clears, i look around, and the positions of all the stars and planets are off. i feel fear at first, but then i began to realize i was dreaming, and did the levitation reality check to prove it. after more experimenting, i woke up. so thats my first lucid dream. i hope to learn more about lucid dreaming from this site and the people on it

thanks, theres so many possibilities for lucid dreaming, its hard to decide where to begin. i thought about trying to create a definite location that i can return to again and again, and go from there. i guess we'll see how that goes in the coming nights, thanks again for the welcome

Whenever you want to change your location, reach into your pocket and pull out a seed. A seed will always be there so don't worry about that. Next, plant the seed, cover it with your hands, and then visualize the dreamscape changing. Say for example, you're in a grassy field and you want to be in your house instead. You'd plant the seed, cover it with your hands, and then imagine hardwood flooring spreading from that spot and then throughout the rest of the dreamscape.

Puffin's Beginner's Guide To Lucid Dreaming is a great place to start learning about lucid dreams. You should also browse the Tutorial section when you get the chance, it's full of information, tips, and in-depth guides. On top of that, you can also visit the DV Academy for further guidance - the DVA Professors will teach you everything you'll ever need to know about lucid dreaming.

You might also want to get into the habit of performing reality checks (maybe two or three) throughout your day, you'll eventually start doing them in dreams and become lucid. I usually count my fingers but feel free to look up other methods and see which works best for you. I'd also recommend keeping a dream journal; regularly recording your dreams is a great way to improve to improve recall and you'll be able to notice common themes and patterns which can further help you attain lucidity.

We also have an off-topic section as well where you can discuss anything from books, movies, tv shows, philosophy, current events, etc so be sure to visit that part of the forum as well. If you ever get bored or need to kill time, visit Senseless Banter. It's full of nonsensical threads like forum games and the SB frequenter's are a friendly bunch so feel free to drop in sometime. We also have an IRC Chat Server which can be found near the top of the forum index. 'tis lulz.

Also, you're always welcome to PM either no-Name or I if you'd like to see pictures of our tits.
