      New to the site.

Hello there. I am new to the site, but not new to lucid dreaming. I have been reading Kingyoshi's guids and others for months and I have been practicing lucid dreaming. I got okay at lucid dreaming, so i created an avy hear. I began my lucid adventures 8 moths ago, around Christmass. I was researching astral projection to see peoples opinions on it and read things about being able to astral project from lucid dreams. I read about lucid dreaming being able to be triggered and first had the "ya right another thing people on the internet lie about, to make it seem like they are special." IT kept nagging at me, the possibility of having cool adventures when I go to sleep. So I tried it off and on the first month. On the second I began trying evey night, while reading guides. I had one lucid dream and realized that I was wrong after all. I began trying and trying until i had 1 every week and then every few days. After a few months of that I decided I should join the site, with the othe lucid dreamers. After all most people "adults" I bring it up to suspect things, which is only natual and othe kids ask me if im on something. I might as well have people to talk to about these things.

      Hey Fred, welcome to Dreamviews

I always find it so strange when people deny the possibility of lucid dreaming. It's just such a simple concept and it sounds perfectly reasonable.

      Congratulations on your LDing success

I agree with this, I hate people who don't believe in lucid dreaming. Anyway, good luck!

I can understand why people deny possibility with things like this. Most people are raised to believe that what they believe in is right and anything else is wrong, this is human nature. depending on where you live, Society has a set of norms and a set of weird funky stuff that the "weird people" do. Things like lucid dreaming are put up with the occult becuase of what some people think they can do with it. Most people I meet think it is witchcraft, unhealthy, or just not real. People by nature are closed minded to that which they haven't experienced. I was in the same boat until I tried it.

I think its just society lagging behind the facts.... For example, the world was proven to be round and was STILL thought of as flat for some time after.

Good luck with your further lucids Frefredburger!

Loving all these Naruto avatars creeping up haha.
