Hi I'm new here and not sure if I'm having lucid dreams or not lol

I've always been able to recall my dreams in great detail and totally love having them.In recent months on maybe 3 occasions I've had some level of control in my dreams. I came to this forum because I've been astounded by these "dreams" and not really sure what to make of them. I had one last night where I shouted out in my dream that "This is really a dream. I am totally aware of this" I was then able to change aspects of the dream and change the people who were present....I simply looked at them and demanded that they changed into someone else and it happend. This was similar in another dream where it was sunny and I decided that it should be wintry and snowing heavily.

Of course in the past Ive dreamt something that all gets a bit weird and I start to wake up but these feel different...like I can run around in charge of it all.

Anyone direct me on where I should go next or should I just start at the beginning of this site and start reading lol

I think it's all quite exciting...love going to sleep

If you know that you are dreaming then you are lucid. That's all there is to it. ^_^ Welcome to Dream Views! That's cool that you remember your dreams in so much detail. I've been interested in dreams for a while and I usually remember at least a few details from my dreams but usually not that much unless they were very memorable. Often I have some level of control, but my logic is usually really bad. -_-' I think if I had just a bit more awareness then I would always be lucid, since my dreams are always extremely weird and unrealistic. But, lately I haven't been spending enough energy on lucid dreaming.

Anyways, for information on dreaming you could just look through the home page, or maybe you could check the wiki section too. The wiki could help you get familiar with some of the terms so you don't get confused when you hear people talking about WILDs, DILDs, Dream signs, DC's, or Dream Guides.

Go up to the top bar there and click "Wiki." You can also search Google, but beware of the scams. There are some.
