Exclamation Is pain in a dream common?

I recently had a dream where i thought i had woke up from sleep. I made my way into the bathroom to brush my teeth. Thats when i saw an old lady with lots of scratches on her face. In the mirror I remebered reading that if i didnt act scared i wouldnt be scared ( or something like that) anways i said "ha im not even afraid of you" she said something and then sort of jumped out of the mirror or at least her face did. My body ( in the dream) moved by itself it moved around thrashing and kicking and spinning. The whole time this was happening my body in real life felt like it was being poked by something sharp and it hurt really bad. When i woke up i checked my self for wounds of any kind of course i didnt find anything but man that hurt really bad. Is this coomon among Lucid Dreamers.

holy macarel, this sounds pretty farksnarkling scary to me. i mean i probably wouldve attempted to summon a beastly weapon but still, sounds more like a lucid nightmare.

anyway, your mind takes the feelings you experience in real life and transfers it to your lucid dreams. therefore, when you flex your arm in real life, you can feel that, so when you flex it in your dream, it takes that feeling and applies it to your arm in the dream.

did anything happen that day or before where you were poked by something sharp or hurt really bad? if not, then your mind probably took the closest feeling to that, or how you thought it would feel, and transfered those feelings instead.

I do have pain in my dreams sometimes, but not often. In my lucid dreams, I barely feel pain even if I jump off a tall building and get ran over by a car. Anyway nothing to worry about

This had never happened before which is why i was completely weirded out I can't recall getting hurt in real life at anytime that day. usually i can do pretty much anything without ever undergoing any type of afflictions such as pain or tiredness etc. Why just this morning My pack got slaughtered by some vampires and I ran ( shamefully) but i turned around and destroyed all but one vampire this dream was cool i enjoyed it.

      Thanks For Replying

I felt pain in a dream last night, and remember vividly a dream in which I was bitten by huge green mosquitoes. Hurt like hell! It's not super common, but it can happen sure

Heh, I once had a dream in which I was ran over by a train. I felt my bones breaking and the pain was pretty bad. I'd say having pain in a dream is normal.

The mind is a powerful thing if it can make you feel things that havent really happened.
