Hi Supertree(bunch of numbers) |

Hey everyone just wanted to introduce myself. I'm new to the site and lucid dreaming. I've had one before but due to my excitement and inexperience I collapsed the dream or ended it. The lucid I was in was very blurry and I didn't recall in description it might have been due to my low dream recall skills. I've browsed the forums a little and i have been trying A.D.A to help my awareness. When ever i finish a dream or at least so far I some how manage to wake myself up to write down what i dreamed. I'd like to get better and have more lucid dreams. Hopefully i can master or at least have a grasp of this skill. I've tried Yoshi's W.I.L.D technique but failed several times. So tonight I'm going to try Yoshi's and Naiya's DILD technique. Since i the forums said DILD is easier. I Am and know i will have a lucid dream tonight >:I. Thank You for reading and if there are any threads that might help me please give me a link and reply thank you |

Hey, Supertree34! Welcome to DV!! |

Instead of Yoshi's and naiyas DILD technique maybe you should try puffins? It's a great guide for beginners. |

I was always a dreamer, in childhood especially. People thought I was a little strange.-Charley pride
Welcome to dreamviews. |

Thank You for the warm welcome I think i'm going to focus on dream recall and my awareness my dream recall has been going down so thats worrying me thanks for the reply I'll keep being consistent until it becomes a habit ;3 ill be more experienced in no time. |
|
Consistency is the best thing. When I first got started I was kind of jumping around which resulted in like a month of failed attempts. But once I stuck with one method, and also consistently wrote in my DJ every morning it really helped me a lot. Also (not sure which technique this came from) but doing reality checks during the day, while awake, really helped me to remember to perform them in my dreams. |

Yea i thx night I think I'm going to stick to Naiya's Visualization Method to get lucid, and everyday I go outside 2 -3 times for 10 mins to practice ADA (all day awareness but you probly knew that) while im doing that i usually do reality checks. I do several of them like looking at words and looking away then looking back, pushing my fingers through my palm, the nose plugging, and thinking of where i was and how'd i get there after asking my self after i was dreaming. I'm kinda discouraged though yesterday night I didn't wake myself up between dream cycles and I could only remember one dream and not very well too. At least I'm remembering something right? I know ill get better with the sites/users help and a bit of persistence. |
