Cant dream because i cant sleep

Ive been like this most of my life, whenever i go to bed, i just cant seem to fall asleep. No matter if im calm and have my eyes closed, it takes 2 hours MINUMUM to fall asleep.

Can anyone tell me how to fall asleep easily?

Btw, im a kid, so i dont really have any job stress or stuff like that.

Well, some people just have a really hard time falling asleep. I don't know why, perhaps you're focusing on the fact that you're falling asleep instead of just doing it? I can give you some advice though. Try to exercise more. If you're physically exhausted when you go to bed, you'll fall asleep right away. Keeping a regular sleeping schedule and not sleeping for too long helps aswell.

If your problem persists, you should go to a doctor. He might give you some melatonin or some other drug, but that's only if the other things don't work. Good luck!

Well, since its the summer, ive been getting kind of lazy........

i would go to sleep at the most random time and ive been sleeping everyday until noon.

Like what Matte said, try to exhaust/tire yourself before going to bed. And don't take naps during the afternoon, it will just refresh you and make you less tired when you go to bed at night. Hope this helps

Hey - the used to be able to go to sleep was my clearing my mind entirely of thoughts and letting my tired body just take itself. Have you tried this? It's a meditative state called void meditation. Basically, you don't think of anything consciously, but a stray thought pops into your head, don't think into it >e.g. If you hear a sibling or parent drop something outside, don't think about it, just let your mind be empty.
I still use this to fall asleep unless i am trying to MILD.

Would love to hear a response ~
