      Problem with stages of WILD

      Hi,

I am having problems with the WILD technique. I have tried it a few times. One time I just relaxed and imagined I was in a room that had Lucidity all over it. After a while of thinking I will become Lucid I began to here a high pitched frequency getting louder and more high as I thought more. One time I got to a real high point and I heard a bang so I stopped concentrating and got up but the other times I can't even get that high anymore. What should I be thinking about an concentrating on in WILD?

      Thanks,

      Jeremy

Well for me I try not to concentrate on anything in particular. Some people tend to concentrate on their breathing. People have to understand that a WILD isn't something that will happen instantaneously...it takes time and practice. Lots of it!! For me, it takes 35-45 minutes from when I lay down to get into a successful LD...so you also have to have PATIENCE.

When I lay down I try to clear my thoughts and just lay there, then my mind sort of wanders and wanders and I begin to think about really random stuff...things start to sort of melt together and not make any sense and I begin to lose consiousness...but I will usually be snapped back to consciousness at the onset of the vibrational state. If you have trouble not staying conscious try to recite some song lyrics, or even sing them in your head...it has worked at keeping me conscious through all the stages before. It's also important that you aren't TOO concious...or else you will be laying there forever! After your body has completely entered sleep paraysis you will begin to feel intense vibrations throughout your body and hear loud humming in your ears. Then after that you will see the HI, and eventually enter an LD.

Good luck. If you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
