I’m Ahsaka. I’ve lurked around a few dreaming forums before deciding give Dream Views a go. The reason I chose this forum is because there seems to be a vast amount of dreaming and non dreaming topics which will hopefully keep me from getting bored too easily.

Oddly enough, I'm not here to lucid dream. I have lucid dreamed before and know that lucid dreaming is real and can be learned. Since I have already proven this to myself I want to try something a bit deeper. Not saying I don’t want lucid dreams. I’ll gladly receive them as they come but my main goal right now is to push into dreaming related realms that I have yet to experience, like out of body experiences, shared dreaming and the like. I want to prove to myself that these things, too, are real and can be learned. Hope I’ve come to the right place.

You have indeed come to the right place. OBE's (out of body experiences) and astral projection are common effects of the WILD technique, so practice that with an eye toward it.

Good to hear I'm in the right place. I'll definitely be working on the WILD technique then. Can't wait to get dreaming.

If you want to learn a little bit about shared dreaming ->http://www.dreamviews.com/f144/ is a good place to start.
And Beyond Dreaming is also another good place for the kinda stuff your lookin for.

OBE,s/APs are all interconnected to lucid dreaming, they just traits practice as well.
Like Ryhan said, go to the "beyond dreaming" forum, that is where most things like astral projecting is to be discussed .

Thank you dakotahnok. I have a feeling I will need need some help, just as I needed guidance back when I started learning to lucid dream. I'll keep you in mind when I'm feeling perplexed or chatty.
