What if you questioned everything, would that help you just naturally become lucid?

I heard one member say I believe everything is a dream which helps him become lucid. Would this actually work? I mean doing RC's in the real world should spill over into your dreams, so wouldn't the idea of this is just a dream also?

Just curious if many other members do it this way!

      Thanks

Possibly. But you'd really have to mean it when you say it; otherwise you might just start habitually saying it in your dreams with no effect!
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Sounds like a good way to go crazy. I'm sure if you truly believed everything is a dream, you'd do something irrational in the waking world; you'd probably hurt yourself. Being aware is another story. Maybe awareness is what he's really talking about? Check out King Yoshi's ADA Tutorial.

I agree Evolvenity; the second I posted it, I realized that might not be the best thing. That's my only inkling about continuously saying and believing that everything's a dream. Surely you wouldn't really start believing it for real, but the best way for this method to work is to try and believe it. I don't believe awareness is what the OP's speaking of, as it's slightly different. I think it's more autosuggestion or a variation of MILD than anything else.

You're right to really mean it in the waking life you would end up doing some crazy things. If you simply just said it but didn't mean it then it would have no effect on your dreams.

Yeah but it takes a lot of effort to continuously be aware throughout the day, i am trying this as well. Try to blend waking life with dreams more, that helps, like you said
      From my rotting body,
      flowers shall grow
      and I am in them
      and that is eternity.
