Hey Highlyfe, welcome to Dreamviews. |

Hello everyone this is my first post on Dreamviews. ThePieMan has told me a lot about lucid dreaming and it seems like such an amazing thing to get into. |

Hey Highlyfe, welcome to Dreamviews. |
We all live in a kind of continuous dream. When we wake, it is because something,
some event, some pinprick even, disturbs the edges of what we have taken as reality.

Yea I was lying in bed. But I'm not sure it was a WILD because when I sleep, it feels like I've just had a blackout until morning, with little to no recollection of the previous night's dream. This time was an exception though. |
Lucids can typically be more memorable than ordinary dreams. But normally if you don't remember any normal dreams, you won't remember your lucids that well either; I'm surprised you were able to remember as much as you did! |

Hey there. Well.. this is the community I was telling you about. What do you think? |
Uncontrolled shifting of scene is not uncommon in inexperienced lucid dreaming. It is sometimes hard to keep control of a dream once you become aware of it. Your brain may not accept the idea of a lucid dream and you could end the dream or lose lucidity as you have said. Experience will improve your stability. Keep trying to replicate the circumstances surrounding your LD. Good Luck |

Highlyfe! Welcome to dreamviews |
What if the recollection of dreams is completely blank, might the dream recall weaken if I have a habit of getting up instantly after i wake up? |
Thanks for the tips people. This is indeed a great community |

Well... everyone's good at something. It's what makes this world bearable. |
I'm gonna do the same if i can't recall anything :/ |
I do not know if anyone else has this problem but I often fall asleep again before I can even write in my dream journal |
Cattle prod next to the bed? That'll wake your ass up!! |
Welcome to DV my friend, |
That does sound like something I could do. I have had non lucid Dream Exit Dreams. Maybe with a little practice this might be the path for me. |
... I'm guessing you mean DEILD, not the cattle prod thing?!! |
You could get an alarm for your computer and leave it on over night. I assume you have a computer unless you can access DV with your mind :p I do not know if it is in the room which you sleep in though. |
Unfortunately not. The computer is in the basement and I sleep upstairs. I do have a laptop that needs some kind of repair - I could get that fixed and use it I suppose. Thanks - why didn't I think of that before? |
Well good luck with fixing your laptop. I hope that it works out for you. |
Well I tried to DEILD last night and I had no problems with not moving or opening my eyes but I kept waking up in really uncomfortable positions and could not get back to sleep without moving |
