1. Should I write in my DJ, even though I only had a few fragments that were so vague I can only remember some parts here and there?
Any attempt to recollect memory of a dream improves your recall, you should write down anything you can remember if you aim to improve it.
2. Which is the better way to get an LD, a WBTB or a DEILD? For me, they both worked when I tried them; however they were only about a minute or less!
I believe the only advantage of WILD is you have more choice of when you attempt, and that you are more concious when you do. Other than that it's very similar. (Probably down to preference).
3. Last night I preformed a DEILD and had a false awakening. I began writing in my DJ, then noticed something was strange. I did an RC, then woke up. Does this count as an LD? Should I add it to my LD count?
Yeah! You realised you were dreaming and woke up, still a lucid dream.
4. How effective is it to have a list of goals to do in an LD? Does it help much?
Depends on the person, although I guess it can help motivate you to lucid dream, and motivation plays a large part in success!
5. I think I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. My objective last night was to "recognize anything strange or out of place, then do an RC". However, my dreams last night weren't all that strange. (at least not as strange as the previous night!!) I think I should go back to even simpler, to something like just "remember your dreams". What do you think?
By objective you mean mantra? If so then the shorter the easier you will remember it, I use "I'm Dreaming" as it's first person and very short. If you aren't talking about mantras then I don't see anything wrong with that objective and remember things don't always work first time with Lucid Dreaming.
Keep up the good work!
