      Quick reminder please

I started attempting to LD in march using several techniques but I never managed after about a month of trying. Which technique is the best to use to start off and has a higher rate of success? Most of the time I just lay there and told myself that I would be in a dream but it only worked once when I realized it was a dream.
Aims: 1)Have a lucid dream 2) Perfect my WILD (atm at the hallucination stage)

      What technique were you using?

Id personally recommend DILD and MILD accompanied by WBTB. Make sure your reality checking and you know your dream signs. Have a good 10-15 mins visualising before bed time, and make sure your aware.

Different techniques have different results with different people, so its hard to tell you which one to use. Just use the ones that seem to suit you better.

      And good luck

Cool. Make sure you visualise yourself getting lucid, get excited cause you KNOW its gonna happen. Report back in the morning if you LD.

Hopefully you'll stick at it mate!

Well honestly it just depends on the person how good a technique will work. Just find one that appeals to you the most, and you feel comfortable with. If the technique isn't working after just a couple weeks, don't give up! It takes time and you need to stick with a technique. The techniques with the highest success rate probably are DILD and MILD. Like I said it just depends on the person, though.

      Good tutorials:

      DILD:
      -Puffin's SAT Technique
      -All Day Awareness by KingYoshi

      MILD:
      -Naiya's Simple MILD Technique

If you are thinking about MILDing it is recommended you do it with a WBTB. You will have a better chance of becoming lucid. So just set an alarm about 5 hours after sleeping, and MILD then. If you don't want to use an alarm, just drink a ton of water before bed so you will wake up naturally in the middle of the night. Good luck! I hope you start getting lucid soon
