      new to dream views :)

Hello dream views community i recently became interested in the power of lucid dreaming about three days ago. I take psycology at my school and we started to learn about dreams and how powerfull they can be if attaining lucidity. I have already had two lucid dreams out of the first three days of attemting to. I dont know if it comes easier to some people than others but seems pretty easy if you just put the effort in to wanting to have one. The only problem i have is not being able to control my dreams to well and i was wondering if anyone would have any tips they can give me. THANKS!

      Welcome to dreamviews!

That is so awesome that you are learning about lucid dreaming in school! So having some problem with dream control are ya? Well dream control is pretty much based on belief. If you don't believe you can fly, do you think you will? Exactly, when you intend to do something you need to really BELIEVE you can. After all, it's your mind! You can do what you want! You can also use passive control which is more like using tools in the dream for something to happen, say if you wanted to fly then you could put on a pair of shoes that you know will make you fly. Or if you wanted to fight some ninjas you could walk up to a DC and say,
" YOU IDIOT! You've pissed off the ninjas! There gonna come attack us now!". Things like that will really help.

      Hope this helps. Good luck!

      Hi there my friend,

Glad You've joined. Hope you have a fun stay here. Be sure to read http://www.dreamviews.com/f20/beginn...eaming-116237/ , it's a must read article. To LD, You must first need to choose a technique that suites you best and practice, practice, practice. Then, practice dream control. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it in not time. If you do have questions, feel free to ask by either posting a thread or messaging a Dream Guide(title given to people experts in LD) in this Dream Guide List. You can also go to the forum's chat room to ask questions or just hang out. Be warned though, DV members tend to go crazy and stuff, so be patient in asking, i'm sure someone will answer your question. Hope this helps

Not to in depth we are just studying different techniques such as the Wild Dild Mild etc. and also famous people who have made inventions because of an influence a lucid dream gave them.

I'm so jealous. I wish they taught lucid dreaming in every school program. You are very lucky.
