New and questions about breaking SP

      Hey!

I am new in here. I registered because I couldn't find any information anywhere. I have been looking for some time. Well let's start telling who I am. I am 21 year old boy from Finland. I have always had the ability to control my dreams, forcibly break out of them.

But now to the problem. Last year I had my first sleep paralysis. It went away as I calmed myself. The next time I got it half year later and I did the same thing. On summer I got one and I broke the state somehow. I have been reading that it should not be possible. I noticed that i couldn't sleep and one ugly cat was looking me. I forcibly raised my hand and said: "I don't even have a cat." I woke up and then few minutes until I started to see those cat's heads everywhere. It went after some time.

The other time was that I saw two different worlds with two eyes. Other had computer on and other did not. It was freaky and I forcibly broke myself out of that one also. I hate being held by something. Even it would be my own head... After that I started to hear dishes breaking everywhere. There was no dishes at all. I went back to sleep when dishes stopped that.

But after that I had a dream where I was bicycling on the dark road then I felt when my body was trying to go into that state! I woke up before that happened. The thing is.. I haven't seen nightmares since then. Also my other feelings has been removed from dreams. It is very strange. That thing happened in July. Any suggestions what I should do? I would like to feel again in my dreams...

I haven't found any information about if someone has broke that state. I felt terrible pain, but did it anyhow...

      Hi there my friend,

First of all, welcome to DV. Hope you have a fun stay here. I'm sure you've the cats and 2 different world and dishes and etc you're experiencing were Hypnagogic Hallucinations(HH). HH often sets in when a person's in a relaxed state. When you experience HH, this is an indication that a Lucid Dream is not faraway. So try to ignore them and let yourself go with the flow. And regarding about the loss of feelings in dreams, I suggest you just feel. Sounds crazy right? Everything's possible in a dream, so just feel. Try to think and put in your mind that you can feel. It would also help if you read Dream Stabilization and Clarity Tutorial - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views because it might be the dream's quality that is affecting your sense of feeling.

Feel free to reply back and hope this helps

Hey and thanks. Actually this is making more sense than the SP. I indeed got those after I fell asleep. Not when I was waking up. I finally got some info. I did not find many sources about these and then I ended up here. I am bad forum writer but maybe here I can find something to talk about. And thanks for the info =)). Funny thing is that I had not slept well when those came. So can't say if I am more relaxed that way. And yes, nice to meet you =)).
