      Hallo, I'm new here.

I'm Thomas, I'm 14 years old and I'm kind of new to lucid dreaming.
I started reading about it last year and had my first lucid dream in November '10 and then another one the same month but in December I took a break because of Christmas. Now I got interested in it again when I was looking into polyphasic sleep and decided to start trying again.

I've had one lucid dream this year, it was just before I registered here actually. And I'm looking forward to have more of them. See ya around!

      Hi, fourteen here also!

Awesome! Glad you decided to join Dreamviews. It's an awesome site with a great community. You should go into chat sometime. Are you actually planning to polyphasic sleep? I would love to but I'm trying to figure out how to do it with school. Anyway, I recommend you look at this guide to help you remember all the basics and things you should do. Good luck! If you have any questions just send me a PM

Thanks, and yup I'm gonna try polyphasic sleep.
And with school, I just asked the janitor if I there was anywhere I could take a 30 minute nap during lunch, and he showed me a room with a couch in it that works just fine. So, maybe you could try something like that? I guess it depends on how long your lunch break is, mine's 50 minutes so I have plenty of time.

      Hello Majorthomas

It is always nice to see people who have so much enthusiasm for dreams, They are so special, and yet over looked by so many thousands upon thousands of people, and also well done for starting your journey at such a young age, I often think to myself "what if i had discovered Lucid Dreaming when i was 90?" How frustrated would i feel knowing i missed out on all those epic adventures.
good on you for trying polyphasic sleep, let us know how it goes.

Welcome to Dream Views, if you have any questions feel free to ask me, or the many talented others here.
Enjoy your stay, i hope it is a good one

Could it be, so plain to see, the night is still so young for me.

      Welcome!

I would like to try polyphasic sleep, too. I read it is good for LDing. Are you going to try everyman, uberman, or dymaxion?

I wish you easy adjustment and happy LDs

From what I read, dymaxion is probably the most difficult sleep schedule. Why don't you want to try uberman instead? I understand it if you can't sleep every 4 hours because of school etc.. In this case I would rather choose everyman. It is not as awesome as uberman and dymaxion are, but it can be flexible (compared to uberman and dymaxion). The adjustment phase for everyman is easier, but little longer then the adjustment phase for uberman or dymaxion surprisingly, since everyman is not such "do or die" (compared to uberman and dymaxion).
What is your greatest motivation to try polyphasic sleep? The additional waking time or the ease of WILDing (and LDing generally)?

BTW it is great you begin LDing so young. It should be easier to learn and you should have more time to enjoy it .

It's not that I don't want to try uberman, it's just that I really wanna try dymaxion.

Actually, my greatest motivation is that I wanna know if I can do it. It's kind of like a really interesting "experiment" in my opinion. The other stuff is just a bonus.

It is great you want to try it as an experiment! The world needs more curious people, who dare to try something unusual! You are certainly one of them. I wish you good luck and positive results with it!
