      Strit's here!

      Hi, I'm Strit.

I signed up last week even though I've known about this site for at least a year and often have been a guest here reading all the good advises about LD to be found in here.

I learned about Lucid Dreaming about 10 years ago after having a couple of spontaneous SP's and LD's over the course of about a year. Since then I've been on and off in my strive to become Lucid. Sometimes forgetting about it completely for months or years at a time and sometimes deciding that now is the time to learn it for real ...until daily life makes me forget it again.

In the periods where I concentrate on becoming lucid I have a fairly good dream recall and sometimes also get lucid, but my control of the dream is lousy and the LD's doesn't last long.

This night I had a dream where I found a lot of good stuff that somebody had thrown away and I realized that it didn't make sense to keep any of it as it wouldn't be there in the morning, but still I didn't get lucid

One of my problems with LD right now is that I have a little kid who wakes me up early in the morning and therefor I don't have the time to write down my dreams before getting out of bed. I'm trying to make my self wake up during the night after sleep cycles to remember and write down dreams, but even though I seem to have some success in waking up I can't make myself actually grab the book and write something. The result is that I am awake many times during the night just thinking about what I just dreamed and then I fall back to sleep. In the morning I remember a lot of dreams in bits but none in length. I don't feel that I lack sleep because of this, actually I like this way of sleeping a lot.

If you have any comments or good advises for me I would really love to hear them. After all, thats why I finally got myself together and signed up!

Happy Lucids to all, and to all a good night!

      Welcome to the forums Strit.
Always great to see more danes around here, I hope you can keep your motivation/focus on LD this time - I struggle with a few of the same issues as you describe (Lousy control and short LD's) as I just started trying to induce LD's recently.
I feel that I've been making fast progress after keeping my focus on the topic however, I'm sure you will too! ^v^

      Velkommen til!

Thanks both of you. I'm happy to be here and hope I'm on the right track to something splendid.

      See you around the forum!
