Hello, I'm new to all this stuff! I've been trying it for a few weeks but have just succeed with two sleep paralyses which was really cool. I can't remember exactly what happened when I go the first one, but I had my second SP few days ago. |

Hi and welcome to DV! If you're having that hard a time falling asleep, then perhaps it would be best to give WILD a rest for now. I'd try inducing dreams by DILD or MILD. WBTB is a great way of achieving lucids if you can fall asleep quickly again. |

I will look into the other methods, and when i get sleep paralysis I am very relaxed and I am going with the flow. But still it just wakes me up after a while, and while I'm having sleep paralysis i feel like i'm awake and can't sleep right now. |

I think if you try a few more times you'll get it right. And also, don't give up even though it feels like you might aswell do it. What often happens when you decide to give up is that you end up in a FA. |

It is tricky to find the right balance between keeping yourself awake and letting yourself drift into a dream. It takes a lot of practice. What do you think about? What is your mind doing while you are lying still? Try a mental exercise like counting breaths or visualizing something. |
