      Noob's LD experience?

Hello fellow mind adventurers! I'm new to the posting on here and relativly new to the world of lucid dreaming. I've done research on the subject and have been making WILD attempts for a few days, almost a week. I've had been meeting each attempt with failure, which is slightly disconcearning but I will not give up! Last night during another WILD attempt I decided to try WBTB with it I naturally wake up several times in the middle of the night which helps not to disrupt REM with an alarm clock. After giving and initial WILD attempt before actually sleeping (No harm in trying right?) I feel soundly asleep my body woke me up. I wrote in my dream journal, went to the rest room, drank some milk and browsed on here via phone. I laid by down at another wild attempt which led to nothing new (I relax myself to the point of heaviness count my breath visualize and repeat many things in my head to clear them out to gain focus on breathing. My body beings to tingle and feel very heavy my ears ring and sounds such as breathing and a heater become distant. My eyes begin to jump around my eyes and a slight feeling of twisting and falling begins but stops ever so promptly. things such as my eyelids opening, swallowing, and itching interrupts and the sounds slowly fade back or becomes slightly louder.) This angered me so much I decided to give up for the night and went back to sleep that's when it happened! I turned to my normal sleeping position and I either started thinking about something or had a very mini dream seeing how I just closed my eyes. I felt myself falling through my bed (which has happened once before prior to my knowledge of lucidity) I immediatly know this was SP or my transition to sleep. I began falling faster and faster down what seemed to be a black and whitestripped tunnel I could hear and feel the wind passing over me before being thrown into a grainy looking night sky floating across I kept repeating to myself "I will remain mentally awake through this whole experience" then from mere excitement my eyes popped open. I did several RCs to make sure it was not a false awakening. But alas it was over :/ This made me hopeful of tonight! This slight experience was better than even my greatest shroom trip! Is there any explaination to this what happened? Any and all answers are appreciated. Also I apologize for any odd spelling errors and lack of paragraphs. Due to my current computerless situation I'm forced to use my nonsmart phone for slight internet access. After this experiend I rushed on here to create an account and share my experience! P.S. Any advice on entering SP or changes in my WILD technique are greatly appreciated! thank you all happy dreaming .

Well, excitment can wake you up easily so it makes sense that you woke up while the dream was forming.
Anyway, SP just like dreams is powered by your mind, so of course SP/dream experiences will incorporate any shroom trip and make it better/worse easily, so yeah that would explain the awesome SP.
Also, a month might not be enough to get discouraged, WILD can be a bit hard for some people, though since you remember waking up naturally it shouldn't be much of a problem for you, good luck!
