it took me 8 days

Okay after 4 nights without any dream recall i saw last night 6 dreams + lucid dream which was short, but definitely counts as one. It went like this i was in some hotel with couple of friends of mine and i looked out of the door it was summer and it got me thinking how is it so warm and green because its already cold in here finland. then it hit me and i said out loud i'm dreaming and my friends were like "yeah that must be it...." I got too excited and i started to lose it. I woke up in my bed and it was a false awakening it was pretty hard to move but i was able to plug my nose and try the reality check and it succeeded. Then i started to feel my both bodies it was kinda weird but awesome. and suddenly i woke up with a big smile on my face Next time i wont lose, I'll take full control of it! it took me 8 days to lucid dream totally worth it.

Congratulations and good luck with your next lucid. What sort of preparation were you doing before this?

you know the usual. keeping dream journal, some mantra thing and choosing a good rc. but before i went to bed i didn't do anything because i had a few beers and i was kinda tired. i slept the night well and i woke up in the morning feeling still tired so i kept sleeping and in the middle of a dream i noticed that im dreaming and that was that.
