I've been fascinated by the ability to control my dreams (and other paranormal abilities) since I was 15. I was lonely, bullied out of society and on the brink of depression.

..it's ok, you can put the Kleenex away now.

So I imagined myself a world where I could just be ME, and people would love me and allow me to love them. This later turned into my Astral Plane. This is also when the Lucid Dreaming began. I've had several as a child (can't count them), and about 6 within the last 5 years or so.

Recently, though, I had one where I could *not* conjure up whatever I wanted. Normally when I'm Lucid in my dreams, I just go on a wish-fulfilling spree XD Example: I met Jack Sparrow in a dream after wishing for it while lucid. Last time, though, I wished for a meeting with a Japanese musician, and.. ..nothing

Sooooo, I figured I'd get actively into this whole Lucid Dreaming training again. So I looked up tips and tricks, found some on Dreammoods.com and then wound up here

Glad to have you in DV. Anyways, I'm sure you'll be able to summon/conjure things once you get the hang of lucid dreaming. For starters like you, you need to know first the basics in achieving an LD. Have you already decided the right technique for you? There's the DILD, MILD and the WILD. You may choose one that suites you best. Also, a dream journal is a must. So be sure to get one. I keep a blogger dream journal (since I can blog from my phone, which is next to my bed, so I don't have to bother getting up and blogging via laptop), and I think DILD is what I'm going to start with, since I'm used to that type. I'm going to work on MILD and WILD later, once I get DILD down to almost perfection and almost 100% success ratio.

Also, I think I've identified dream signals: vehicles. I tend to become lucid while on or in vehicles

It seems you are already quite familiar with lucid dreaming. However, I still recommend you take a look at Puffin's Beginner's Guide to Lucid Dreaming. This guide contains all of the basic information on lucid dreaming, as well as how to get started.

I understand why you are interested in lucid dreaming. Being able to create your own world where you can just be yourself and do whatever you want really is an amazing feeling.
