Need help with WILD!

Ok, hey guys recently I've been learning to have a WILD. I reach a point at which my body feels like it has been put in SP, but when I try and move my arm to see if I actually was in SP (not sure why) I am able to move it. When I do move it, it feels like it has been stuck down but with a little effort, I can unstick my arm?
Is this meant to happen?

Also I see flashes of images, but I don't know if I'm just making them up myself.

Finally I would like to know whether you need good dream recall for a WILD seeing as you'r aware your going into the dream.

Don't move while in SP, don't try to, you will probably get a deeper wave of SP to where you can't move as easily, just keep on bein still.
The images are probably HH, just try to visualize a dreamscape to enter the dream, HH is a good way to do so.
