Is nlp anchoring useful for LDing?

Hmm... What's this "NLP Anchoring" of which you speak of my friend? It seems to be quite interesting...

Have you heard the story of pavlov's dog?

Pretty much pavlov released the smell of meat to his dog so that it would drool, and at the same time he would ring a bell. He did that everyday for a while and his dog associated the sound of the bell with drooling, or with food. So when he rings the bell with no smell the dog drools.

And you can do it with people, conditioning them. It's either called conditioning or nlp anchoring.

E.g. If you touch someone on the right shoulder every time they laugh, then when you touch them on the shoulder they will laugh.
Or you can do it to yourself by doing a certain thing when eva you feel a certain thing. Or you can remember and imagine being back in a time you felt the desired feeling.

      Hopefully that made Sense

I think: if there is any field you can apply NLP succesfully, than it's lucid dreaming.

A lucid dream is a state and inducing states is the main thing about nlp.
Anchoring a lucid dream seems quite difficult, because you have to be lucid to anchor this state.

But you may anchor a state of critical awarenes or all day awareness.
Or a state of relaxation and awareness for a WILD...
You may overcome limiting believes about lucid dreaming.

Maybe you can find some usage for the Design Human Engineering, which is a modification of NLP?

Well, i thought about this for a long time, and all i can think of is this :

Almost every time you are in a dream, you TALK to someone, it can be ANYONE, you know, or don't know, who exists or doesn't exist.
By doing a reality check in waking life, every time you talk to someone, like EVERY dream (90%) could be a lucid one..

I find it to be a good technique, and i think i will use it for a while..

If you have a way of conditioning yourself successfully, give it a try. It is harder than it sounds, and probably more trouble than it is worth. Do you think it would be easier than the traditional lucid dream induction tricks?

It's like REALLY HARD, but i BET it can give you 90% success rate every night, for practicing it for a week.. I recalled 4 dreams , and in all 4 i talked to multiple people.. It is hard, but it's definitely worth it !
