Hi and welcome to DV! That's a great start |
|
I started reading up on Lucid Dreaming two days ago and joined this forum yesterday. I initially started researching into it after I had two very short lucid experiences the night before. I say short, the moment I became lucid and tried to move I woke up. I think it was over excitement. |

Thanks! I'm going to be using Visualization MILD, only had two attempts at it so far with no luck but it is very early days. My other lucids were just unexpected. I've read up a lot on lucid dreams since then so I think I should be more prepared, just need the chance to try. |

Actually I can't focus for more than a minute or a few tops before I drift off into other thoughts, but if the intentions are strong you should be alright. When I'm saying my mantra I convince myself that I'm most likely going to become lucid. MILD usually takes a while for it to have effect, so don't worry about that |

Alright, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks. I intend on trying it every night so I'll keep this thread updated if I manage to become lucid again. Thanks for your help! |

No problem and good luck! Nice lucids also, you're basicly at the "learning how to walk" stage which is so exciting! |

If you are having a hard time falling asleep, you could postpone your MILD to the middle of the night. Fall asleep normally when you first go to bed, then wake after a few hours of sleep for your MILD. This is the easiest way to MILD. |
