Hi everyone! |

Hi, I'm new too. |

Hi and welcome to DV! What you describe in 1 is called a False Awakening, they're great if you know how to spot them and can be used to get lucid every time. If you RC everytime you wake up in your bed then you should be able to use that to your advantage. I also had the same thing, I realised I was dreaming because I was having a nightmare and I used my lucidity to escape. When you can hear yourself snore you're in the middle of sleep and dreams, just relax and a dream will form before your eyes. Just make sure you stay focused so you don't black out. |

Wow! I didn't know that there are terms for them. |

Being in extreme situations makes you think of solutions quickly, I often find that whenever I have to solve something in my dreams, the logic centre of the brain starts up and I suddenly realise I'm dreaming. But having the ability naturally is great, that means you know what to expect and you're sure you can become lucid in the first place (everyone can, just alot of people doubt in themselves) so if you start practicing a technique like DILD or MILD, you should see results rather quickly |
