      approaching lucidity

hello!!there isn't something really like-question,i just want to share my progress, and know what you think...attempting MILD for 5 days now..i had 3 times a false awakening with the realisation of dream, but without escaping the dream mode..last night i had the strange ("how stupid is this dream??wait a minute!!!it's a dream!!!!" ) but without attaining lucitidy also..and,one time i woke up in my bed,did reality check and realised that i was in a dream, but i couldn't move!(why this?)..i feel i m close on gaining pure lucidity, what do you think?

Sounds like sleep paralysis on that last night. Good job though! I've only had one semi lucid dream that lasted like 10 seconds.

Hey, pretty nice progress there You should have a firm goal in mind, what you want to do as soon as you become lucid. That way you will start focusing even more and also don't have to waste time figuring out what to do. Keep on doing what you're doing, sounds like it's working great. Also yes that is called "Sleep Paralysis" and happens every night, only you're not conscious while it happens. Relax if you end up in that again and you will start dreaming again.

yes,i know about sp,but in this case i think i was dreaming..what really happened was that i fell asleep, somehow knowing that i m gonna have a dream in a few seconds,i felt like someone was lifting me,and when this feeling ended,i opened my eyes, and i could hardly move..i tried to close my nose and breathe, and i succed it..and i say to myself,so i m in a dream, but i couldnt move somehow..that annoyed me and i chose to wake up

You are so close! Keep it up, and don't get discouraged. I can relate to that feeling of being unable to move. It happens to me sometimes at the beginning of a WILD or MILD. If you find yourself stuck, don't panic. Realize you are already in a dream. The easiest thing to do is to imagine a new scene for yourself, away from your bedroom. If this is too confusing, just roll your body back and forth until you roll off the bed. Get away from your bedroom as soon as possible to avoid this kind of thing.

Glad to hear that some of us are getting somewhere, lol.
The only improvement I've made so far is improving my dream recall.
