      Am I becoming more aware?

In some of my recent dreams I noticed that I am starting to question things a bit more, instead of just accepting them.

For example, my sister had cleaned the shower last night, and she told me about how clean it was. Later that night when I went to sleep I had a dream about how she was telling me how the shower was so clean, but when I looked at the shower in my dream, it was completely silver(its normally all white besides the shower head and faucet, which are both silver). I remember questioning why it was all silver in my dream.

      That is just one example.

So I was wondering if this means I am becoming more aware?
Does it also mean I am progressing in my Lucid Dreaming practices?

ok the fact that you are aware that there are signs of becoming aware show you are becoming more aware that is good, and yes its possible that you are becoming more aware there are multiplwe signs of becoming aware and because you were able to show an example shows you know what to look for. so if you have anymore questions im happy to answer

Sounds like you are becoming more aware. Other signs may be, when in your regular dream, you do stuff you have not done before. Like I have never used any "powers" in reg. dreams, but since I LD, I started using them every now and then. Keep doing your daytime awareness!

"How did I get here?" Is the best question I can ask myself in a dream and remember my waking body in bed.

I think yes, you're starting to question things a lil bit. Just continue practicing your awareness and i bet you'll able to differentiate dreams from real life without exerting much effort. It's just a matter of making it a habit to question your surroundings.
