      Faillure #2

I tried to do a WILD today, while taking an afternoon nap. I reached SP but went out of it again due to my cat making ‘mew’ sounds all the time because it wanted to get out of my room.

I opened my eyes and stood up being very very dizzy, it was almost like I was drunk and everything in front of me was slightly hazy. My mom came into my room and told me to come downstairs because we were about to have dinner, it was around 7pm after all. This is when I really opened my eyes and realised that all had been a dream...

I read about these false awakenings quite often and know that you should always do an RC afterwards. I feel so silly not doing an RC, but again it felt so real. I still saw my cat being annoying, it was the same time, and dinner was (almost) ready. The only thing odd was the drunkenness, but I just thought I was tired and a bit disorientated by waking up during the SP.

Anyway, I got further than just SP this time, so luckily there is improvement. I’d better just be doing an RC next time ><

Frustrating! At least you can feel accomplished knowing you succeeded. You just didn't realize it.

.. At that point, you should have done an RC. Could have been another FA.

I think it would be cool if EVERYbody tried standing in front of a mirror immediately after waking up (was talking about this in another thread a bit ago).. if you make a habit of it in real life, then you just might be inclined to do so in a FA, and looking in a mirror is a great RC, since we tend to look different or weird in a mirror when we dream. It's not infallible, but I bet it would be a teriffic start. I'm going to start doing it tomorrow first thing.

hehe fair enough.. what about looking in a mirror first thing in the morning?

my master bathroom has a window so there's nice sunlight and no scary stuff.. you have a mirror somewhere where there's ample sunlight in the morning?
