      Smile Re-Introduction

      Coming back

Ill bet nobody recognizes my username. And that's all due to a story that I have to tell. You see about a year ago I joined this site under another username. I got quite good at Lucid dreaming and for the most part enjoyed it. Then about six months ago, I started school again, right around the time I was going though my DJ and re-writing it (It was full of grammar errors and confusing sentences). I no longer had the time to edit it. I no longer had time to practice because school was interfering with my lucid dreaming sleep schedule.
I started clearing out my DJ by replacing all of the entries with the word "deleted" while copying them onto an external hard drive. Soon after, I posted on the meta form asking that my old account be deleted. I was not planning on coming back at this point.
A couple of months passed and I didn't really do anything lucid dream related. I started a DJ on my computer for about two weeks. It was short lived and I did not really continue it. Lack of motivation, mostly.
And about three weeks ago, I decided that I should start lucid dreaming again.

I love the DJ system on this site

I can remember looking around for ways to keep a DJ. I did not like just using OpenOffice documents because they're difficult to organize. I looked online for some journal programs. Most of them either had none of the features I wanted or were overpriced. I tried a written journal but I can type much faster than I can write, so keeping a journal on the computer is a huge advantage for me.
I like the DJ system here. It's easy to organize your dreams based on lucid and non-lucid, and all those other categories. I like that you can tag your dreams to look for recurring things.

      Awesome community

Everyone on this site is so awesome and helpful. Every time I was even having the slightest problem, I remember a bunch of experienced LDers swooping in and helping me. I'm looking forward to seeing some of my old friends and making tons of new ones.

      Some Experience...

As stated in my introductory story, I used to be a member of this site under another name. On my old account I had over 100 DJ entries and about 30 lucid dreams, although many were short, and I was unsuccessful in achieving many of my goals.

I've met and talked with my dream guide.

I've also had some experience with WILDs and that sort of thing. I can recall the time I had SP directly from going to bed.

      More about me

I am a HUGE gamer. I always have to be playing the hot new game. And I always dream about whatever game I'm into at the time. Right now, I'm playing skyrim, and have been having dreams about that sort of thing. Fighting dragons, exploring dungeons.Dreaming of a video game you're interested in can be cool at times when you dream that you have a portal gun or are fighting in Halo Reach, but can suck at other times.
I can remember I spent the night at my cousin's house playing this game he likes; Minecraft or something like that. And after that I had this great lucid, but it was totally cheapened by the fact that the world was made of cubes like in the game we were playing.
I also go to a Tae Kwon Do class a few nights a week. This often winds up in my dreams as either me going to class, or me applying my skills in whatever situation.
I also go to high school. I'm a decent student. I often have anxiety dreams about school, being late or failing a class, but sometimes they cause me to become lucid.
