Trying galantamine for the first time...

First time posting here in a while, just wanted to make a thread before trying galantamine for the first time, adding it to my normal Choline+inositol, B complex, and 5-HTP (among other non-LD-inducing supplements). Haven't had a successful LD in a long time, although I've come close a few times. Even if this doesn't work, it should make for a vivid dream which is always nice. I'll be back here success or not tomorrow morning, wish me luck.

Interesting... my dreams weren't really more vivid, but I had more of them (or at least remember more). No LDs tho :-/
Kind of disappointing considering what I'd heard about galantamine

Did you try GM with WBTB? And B6 should not be taken at the same time as GM and Choline, because it will cause the Choline to be absorbed in your stomach instead of your brain. Don't be disappointed. It will take you couple of trys to figure out the best time for your WBTB. After that, it will work. How much experience you have with LDing? Have you had WILDs?

I've been trying every night to LD since 2008 and have had 1 success.
My problem is that I fall asleep within 30 seconds every night. If I try to stay awake with any techniques, I stay awake, and the instant I start to let go of staying awake, even a little bit, I fall asleep within 5 seconds.
I wouldn't give up that ability for anything since its really nice obviously, but it makes it difficult to LD.
My only success was upon randomly doing a RC during a dream when stuff seemed weird (I do at least one RC almost every day, its ridiculous that that has only happened once), not through a WILD
That claim about vitamin B / Choline seems really weird to me, any source to back that up?

I was so sure it's in Yuschaks book, but I can't find it now. So I will retract. I was following it, when I was gonna take GM, I didn't take b6 on that day, just to be sure. But he says not to take b6 with 5-htp or mucuna. Thanks for pointing this out.

How long do you stay up for WBTB - maybe not long enough? Do you get out of bed?

sometimes I get out of bed, doesn't really matter though, when I was talking about my going-to-sleep abilities, that's including laying down for the first time at night. Any way I do it, I fall asleep in <30 seconds. I could be asleep within 2 minutes right now, for instance, and I'm not even tired. In fact, I'm usually wide awake before getting into bed.
I feel like this is really rare, but I don't know how to take advantage of it...

Ok, if WBTB and WILDs are not working for you, I would recommend MILD for DILDs. Some daytime awarness, RCs, mantras and dream journal. Doesn't require you to get up at night. Just fall asleep regularly and wait to become lucid in regular dream. Hope this helps.

      Great success!
      Had a ld last night!
For the last 2 nights I started taking galantamine 2 hours before waking up, and the results were epic both nights. I can fall asleep again after taking the pill VERY quickly tho (even though I've gotten ~6 hours of sleep at that point) so it probably wont work for everyone.
The last 2 nights I've had really vivid dreams, and last nights was lucid. Can't wait to try again tonight!
I didn't use any technique really, just took it and went back to sleep. I don't think thats a WBTB is it?
