My experience with Lucid dreaming + some tips!

      Hi,

I decided to join this site to contribute my experience with Lucid Dreaming.

Most dreams I have I am lucid, knowing that I am dreaming. I can still remember the first dream which helped me become lucid. I was riding a bike and realized in the dream that I dont have a bike so this cant be real. It was then I said to myself if this isnt real wake up. And I woke up. It is from that 1st dream that now whenever I dream I can realize something in it that cant be true so I know I am dreaming. When your in a dream knowing your dreaming it feels great and you can sometimes control every part of the dream, but not always. My lucid dreams normally vary from what I enjoy, like driving supercars, having super powers (I probably watch too many super hero movies) Some dreams can be so vivid and colorful. I remember once being in a forest seeing the sun and shadows of the trees or driving a convertible feeling the wind in my face.

Here are couple tips that may help others:-

If you wake up from a nice dream and you want to continue it, dont change your sleeping position. I can continue a dream like this when I get back to sleep.
The opposite also works if your having a nightmare, change position and the nightmare doesnt come back (works for me anyway).

I can dream everynight and lucid alot if I want to. I discovered this when I had a bad back and my mother gave me magnets to lay on(she was into magnet therapy). It's only after several days solid of dreaming I realised its the magnets making me dream.

I dont use magnets to dream anymore as I have a pendent around my neck which is basically a coiled copper wire. I bought the pendant for other reasons but discovered whenever I forgot to take it off in bed I dream. Dreaming every night can be fun but you do lose a good night sleep, as I will dream all night and wake up couple times in the middle of the night in between dreams. So I only wear it the times I want to dream all night.

Hope this info can help someone or id be interested if anyone else has experienced using magnets to make you dream.

Welcome to DreamViews, you have some pretty unique ways to induce dreaming with the whole magnet thing.

The "Not changing sleeping position" is a pretty common technique called DEILD, Dream Exit Induced Lucid Dreaming. Really cool that you discovered it for yourself, though.

What exactly the magnet does to make us dream ? Does it help in getting lucid ?

And how exactly are these magnets ? xD How you wear them ?

I already have a lot of dreams everyday, I'm just learning how to get lucid in them by creating a more critical personality about the things around me.

I used about 12 small magnets sewn into pillow sized sheet which I use to sleep on. It was specifically purchased for magnet therapy. You can easily buy the small magnets and put then in your pillow case. It works for me and I know my dad complained of dreaming all the time when he used it. But not sure if it will work for everyone but I'm interested to find out.

I doubt they help making the dreams lucid but if they may help to make you dream everynight maybe more chance of getting a lucid one?!

Thankyou, I was having lucid dreams long before I even new what they were called so now thought I'd come and seek more info about them.

      It's true

I think it would be great if we combine it with RCs and ADA to get the best result
