      G'day from Australia!

Hey guys what's up. So, I'm Triforce. Or Anthony. Or whatever you wanna call me. Yeah, I love gaming.

So, a small introduction is in order I suppose. Hmm... Well, I'm very interested in Lucid Dreaming and would love to learn more about it. I've Googled it for hours, but it's really a whole other world, isn't it? Despite already experiencing it for myself, it still seems too good to be true. It really is amazing, and I'm sure there are still plenty of things to discover from such a thing.

A funny story... When I was little I used to have plenty of nightmares about this cow head statue I saw in a supermarket one time. Seriously, that thing tormented my dreams like there was no tomorrow. He'd always appear and stare at me before swallowing me whole. But, after years of scary dreams of him, he actually started helping me. In my dreams I kept him in a Pokéball and whenever the dream got scary I'd have him eat me so I'd wake up. That was a long time ago, though. Haven't seen him in ages. Somebody probably turned him into beef and ate him by now...

On another note, I've had plenty of dreams where I've realized I was dreaming. But this was before I knew I could do anything I wanted. And I wouldn't stay lucid for very long at all since I didn't know all the tricks for enhancing the dream. I also have pretty good dream recall, which is a nice bonus for Lucid Dreaming. I just can never be bothered to write in a Dream Journal, as much as I should. I like to repeat the dream in my head as I get out of bed etc., but the last thing I want to do is write in a book. I kinda hate writing. My handwriting sucks. I suppose I could just jot it down on a computer. It's easier and faster that way. In fact, I'll start tonight.

Anyways, I've only had 3 Lucid Dreams so far. The second one was quite good, the others didn't last quite as long but were still pretty amazing. I've got the letter "R" for "Reality Check" on the palm of my left hand so I do a Reality Check whenever I see it in hopes of passing it on in a dream. This is the first time I tried it so hopefully it goes alright!

And uh, yeah. That's about it. Gotta save some chatter for other threads and posts, so I'll end it there. See ya around!

Welcome to DV, and I've never thought of that.. .I'll try it and hopefully it will help me to remember to perform them in dreams. I'm still working on my dream recall though (It's terrible). Hope to see you around!

It's ok to rely on some clue to remind you to RC. But as soon as you get used to RCing, you should stop, because if you won't see 'R' on your hand in dream, you will miss your chance of becoming lucid.

Just try to RC at random times during day.

And you should definitelly have a DJ, even if it's on a PC, as you say. It has many benefits. Happy dreams
