Thread: Hey!

Hi, I'm BlackRose and I'm glad to finally introduce myself to these forums after lurking for a month or so. I've had at least a couple of lucid dreams as a kid but I never really learned how to control them so they left me early on. I've always been interested in learning more about the mind and how it works but I've always been distracted with other things, so I'm excited to finally get serious about it and share my experience with everyone here.

The reason I chose tonight is mainly because I just ran out of weed and don't have money to buy more right now. I figured that it would be a good time for a tolerance break and spend some time learning how to meditate (someone wanna recommend their favorite beginners meditation guide?) and increase my awareness.

Hey BlackRose, I remember seeing you in IRC once or twice. We only exchanged a few words, but your username is very memorable to me. .hack is a great series.

Sorry to read that money is a little tight, but I'm glad you finally decided to post here. I don't know much about meditation, but I just wanted to pop in and say hi. One of the other members is doing a meditation/awareness class though. Dream yoga might be a good option for you.

Welcome! I used to meditate using the "New Energy Ways" by Robert Bruce and it was pretty cool.

Hey I remember you too thanks for the recommendation! I've been looking into various methods and dream yoga definitely is the most appealing to me so I'll probably try that out!
