      So, What Next?

Hey everyone, I stumbled onto this site a few months back and tried to teach myself how to lucid dream, well since i had basically 0 recall things didn't go so well and I decided to just work on recall alone for a couple months. That brings me to about 3 weeks ago when I had my first lucid dream, which happened to be a WILD.

Knowing what was happening, I wasn't freaked out by the SP/Vibrations though I did find it a little intense, I remember trying to move my arm up quickly and I popped out of my bed and was floating in the corner of my room I rubbed my hands together and tried to fly across the room (kind of like peter pan style, felt like i was on wires) I made it to the opposite wall and tried to push through it, to my surprise my hand ripped straight through the drywall and i woke up from the shock of it. From then on I knew I wanted to improve this skill.

2 weeks went by with no lucid dreams, but last week i had my first DILD, nothing exciting happened just some low speed flying to trying and get my bearings.

Then this week everything started to pick up I've had 4 lucid dreams in the past week.
1 WILD, 3 DEILD. But not really much control until my last DEILD.

After i woke up from a dream about my friends party, I saw images of a man standing with his back to me in my minds eye, I pictured myself moving forward until I passed through the back of his head, and then I was dreaming. I picked up 15-20 cars with my mind and crushed them into a ball of purple energy, then I did it again, then I made a blast wave out from my body sending things flying in all directions. I started to wonder how much I could do, so I started running down the street i was on easily going 200+ mph, I jumped and hit a building, expecting to go through it, but I just stopped. Then i jumped as high as I could, I could see a huge city below me and as i started to fall back down I decided I should fly, I thought Egypt would be a good destination, I turn around and see it in the distance I fly towards it at full speed, takes about 2 seconds, when i get there i get woken up by an alarm in my house going off.

So the as the title of thread says, "What Next." what are some things I have to try while lucid?

1000 things to do in a lucid dream is a thread that currently has 3000+ things to do. Stroll there and you will definitely find something but I would also say talk to your subconscious and as the dream characters what they represent also create your own dream plots.
      For example:
You're a bounty hunter who is tracking a bounty in a cartel, you have to fly to Columbia(or sumwhere) and capture him. But he has ties with rebels and is protected by police. Now you can go about killing them or using an LD power like invisibility or use a disguise, its all your choice when you make a dream plot, my man.
      Hey, City, 19 times.

Thanks for the replies, I know im just getting started at this but i was looking for something a little harder lol, manipulating the world and elements is one thing, but is it possible to create stuff in your dreams ex. could i go find Beethoven and ask him for that new song he just wrote, even though it would be me creating the song.

I've seen the thousand things to do in a lucid dream thread, they all sound like great ideas, but im sure that i'll get sidetracked if i have 1000+ things that i could do. I like the idea of the task of the month, i'll do my best to go for those goals in the next couple nights.

Well i had my second DILD this morning, I did WBTB and tried to WILD but fell asleep to quickly, during my dream i was walking around a house that was very similar to a house i used to live in, but a couple things were different, the driveway was kind of torn up looking, and there was a forest in the back yard that isn't usually there, this gave me enough of an idea i might be dreaming to do a reality check, and it worked. i decided to try out walking through the mirror at the end of the hallway, but there was a DC standing in front of it, i mentioned to them that i was dreaming and woke up im pretty sure this was because i became lucid late in the rem cycle, and it took me a good 2 minutes in the dream to decide to go find a mirror. oh well, becoming lucid seems to be getting easier for me, ill try again tonight.

Holy smokes! Those are some great dreams. I'm jealous. You could join us in the Task of the Month forum:

      Task of the Month

Even if you don't want to participate in this month's task, the archives have some great ideas and inspiration.
