      Failed Lucid dream?

      Okay so i laid down about an hour ago to try to have my first lucid dream, this one started out well, i started to get small sleep paralysis then about 10 mins after i became fully paralyzed. My mind started to go fast and i started seeing lights ( greenish gray in colour ) Then i knew i was gonna go to sleep when i heard a loud throbbing sound, and i started seeing complete white, it kind of scared me and i jumped up so fast. Is what i described supposed to happen?

      Welcome to DV! You were attempting a WILD? Am I right? Crazy stuff happens when you WILD trust me, it's essential that you keep your cool and just get to sleep (but also keep aware by using an anchor). I wouldn't say it's a failure, it's a stepping stone toward success actually.
