If you really want a LD tonight then believe in yourself super hard and repeat a mantra as you go to sleep. "I'm dreaming" works great for me. You can also plan a bit ahead what you'll do once you get lucid, visualize yourself flying or shooting out fireballs with your hands. The more you long to get lucid, the more likely it will happen.
Working on your recall daily, daydreaming and longing for a lucid dream and practicing whatever technique you choose is all you need
