Hello fellow lucid dreamers! I'm new here (obviously), and I thought it'd be a good idea to introduce myself to the community. I'm fairly new to lucid dreaming. Only three lucid dreams have occurred since I've been trying. Hopefully many more will happen to me! The main reason I have decided to join this community is mostly because I have no one else to talk to about my lucid dreams. Everyone looks at me like I'm crazy when I tell them about it. I also think that being here will help with my lucid dreaming! By taking part in a community such as this, I'm taking one more step towards making my mind realize this is an important thing to me, which should make my lucid dreams a bit more frequent so I'm told! I look forward to making many friends, reading about other peoples lucid dreams, and having an all around good time while I'm here!

Hello Sn0wy, welcome to dream views. Three lucid dreams is a good start. I'm sure you'll have more of them as you become a part of the community. I've learned that the more you hang around DV, talk about lucid dreaming, and research it, the more likely you are to have a lucid dream each night. It definitely helps a lot.

Just as Oreo said; reading up on it, talking about it, and thinking about dreaming will help your chances of getting lucid so much. Every night before bed just plan what you'd like to do when you get lucid (no if's about it) ^^

I do understand that believing in your ability to lucid dream is the best thing you can do for yourself. I guess our sub-conscious doesn't like self-doubt much.

Your doubts are your own worst enemy when it comes to dreaming. Kick them out the door and you're in for one awesome dream life.

Thanks! So far I've managed to fly, teleport, and make people/objects. All of which were surprisingly easy to do once I got past the fact that it's 'not possible'. I'd like to try something difficult when I get the chance. Any suggestions?

Try a transformation. I love turning into a dragon and it's lots of fun. Summoning people or creatures are just as fun too. You could also have an epic battle, learn magic spells, destroy a planet, etc. Possibilities are endless.
