Thanks
As for the LD induction techniques, I have not so much tried inducing for lucidity itself. I used to try using various techniques such as WILD etc, but I found that rather than concentrate on lucidity I should be concentrating on vividity. Recently, I have been doing an 'experiment', with the vividity in my dreams and the mental state I am in upon awakening. I find quite often that on mornings where I feel like I have not dreamed at all, my mind is quite noisy and distracted, and as a result I have difficulty falling back to sleep. While when I have mornings where I have woken up from very vivid dreams or even lucid ones, my mind is quiet and focused. I came to the conclusion from this that there is a correlation between awareness and dream vividity/recall. It's my understanding that if one does not pay attention to their senses while they are in waking life, then they will not pay attention to their senses in their dream environments. Therefore, the meditation has been a great way for me to practice this, and to silence and calm the useless noise that runs through my mind, distracting me from my awareness.
How many LDs have I had? I would be lying if I said I could remember . There are times where I often find myself lucid in a dream, but I have not kept count. As far very vivid dreams are concerned, I seem to be dreaming vividly pretty much each night. For instance, this morning I woke up after many different 'storylines' of dreaming.
Thanks again
Edit: I have also just noticed that this site has an excellent dream journals section, so I could write more about my dreams in there perhaps.
