Thread: Happy to be here

Hello all! After experiencing a semi-accidental lucid dream four months ago, I found myself hooked but utterly clueless. Over the past few months, I've gone from stumbling, bumbling newbie with zero dream recall to stumbling, bumbling newbie who actually believes that he can become good at this lucid dreaming business.

After a couple months of slowly leveling up dream recall, I finally broke through about a month and a half ago, racking up my next 8 lucid dreams. Most of the credit for this progress has to go to lucid living and the SSILD technique.

I continue to be fascinated by the sheer realism possible in the dream world. I'd have never understood this unless I had experienced it for myself. While I enjoy sharing the lucid dreaming concept with people in my life who aren't familiar with it, I'm at a point where I believe that community will be important for me to make the most of this experience. I hope to find that here.

I look forward to learning from all of you good people here and seeing where our journeys take us! Pleasant dreams, all.

You're right, that Wiki is really something. I hadn't given it enough attention before but there are a whole lot of nice-looking articles here. Given my penchant for turning every flight attempt into a flopping, flailing crash-landing, perhaps I'll check out this "Dream Flying Tutorial" first.
